TYPE: Plainware DATE: -475 to 1450+ COMMON FORMS: Most all Hohokam common forms. COMMON COLORS: Brown, can be tan to brown to orange to black. MICACEOUS TEMPER: Very little, if any, often none. KEY DIFFRENCES: Tucson Basin Plainware usually has no mica. Gila Plain (also produced in the Tucson as well as Phoenix Basins) as visible mica-schist on the surface.
