COMMENTS: Elizabeth Media, "Sepia", was born in 1956 into the Jemez Pueblo. Her maiden name is Elizabeth Toya. Later, she married Marcellus Medina of Zia Pueblo. It is said that Elizabeth was inspired to make Zia pottery by her mother-in-law, Sofia Medina. Vessel Forms: Jars/Ollas, some with turtle effigy lids, some with cut-out design rims.
