BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary interior designs, occasionally secondary exterior designs.

COMMON DESIGNS: Designs are the same as White Mound Black-on-White, and Kiatuthlana Black-on-White in the Cibola Section of this guide.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Mineral paint used. Also see the key differences sections for Piedra Black-on-White in the Mesa Verde White Ware section of this guide.

OTHER COMMON TYPES WITH SIMILAR DESIGN STYLES:

Mesa Verde White Ware: Piedra Black-on-White

Cibola White Ware: White Mound Black-on-White

COMMENTS: This type is considered a local variety of Piedra Black-on-White.
