TYPE: Three Circle Red-on-White DATE: A.D. 750 to 800 (Shafer, 2003; 182) BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Interiors. COMMON DESIGNS: Designs can be made up of rectilinear and/or curvilinear motifs. Wavy lines are common. KEY DIFFERENCES: Red designs painted on white slip, bowl exteriors are often unslipped brown but may be red slipped.
