TYPE: Nantack Polychrome DATE: A.D. 1275 to 1450 (Neuzil & Lyons, 2005:34 ) BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary interior designs, secondary exterior designs rare. COMMON DESIGNS: Broad simple red designs (usually rectilinear) outlined with thin black lines (that may or may not be outlined again with thin white lines) on tan. KEY DIFFERENCES: Broad red lines outlined with thin black lines on tan, or broad red lines outlined with thin black lines outlined again with thin white lines on tan. VARIETIES: (1) Tusayan Style: Red outlined with black. (2) Kayenta Style: Red outlined with black and white.
