TYPE: Belford Red Corrugated

DATE: A.D. 1300 to 1450 (see comments)

KEY DIFFERENCES: Belford red with corrugation.

COMMENTS: This type has not been formally described (new type). Dates are assumed to be the same as Gila Polychrome.

 

 

1N Salado Belford Red Corrugated, highly polished corrugated Olla.

Interestingly the smeared corrugation covers the same amount of the jar as most

Gila Polychrome decorated jars, the bottom is slipped red as well.
