TYPE: Pottery Mound Glaze Polychrome (Glaze A, B, & C)

DATE: A.D. 1400 to 1490 (Oppelt,2002;44)

PRIMARY BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Interiors and/or exteriors, often with secondary designs on exteriors.

COMMON DESIGNS: Designs (although usually not as fine) resemble those from the Jeddito Ware; Sityatki Polychrome. Interior spirit break just below rim common. Occasional red painted motifs or stepped lines that are not outlined in glaze black.  

KEY DIFFERENCES: Sityatki Polychrome like designs, and background color, although designs are usually not as fine and background color not as bright as Sityatki Polychrome.

SLIP OR SURFACE TREATMENT: Yellowish or orange slip.
