TYPE: Pecos Glaze Polychrome (Glaze E & F) DATE: A.D. 1515 to 1700 (Oppelt,2002;40) PRIMARY BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Interiors and/or exteriors with secondary designs opposite of primary design. COMMON DESIGNS: Thick often runny glaze paint outlining red lines or motifs. KEY DIFFERENCES: Shouldered bowls with thick rims that in cross section are in the shape of a "fat comma". Bottom exteriors slipped red. BACKGROUND COLOR: Creamy white, white to gray to yellowish. Bottom exteriors of bowls and ollas slipped red.
