TYPE: Largo Glaze-on-Yellow (Glaze B)

DATE: A.D. 1400 to 1450 (Oppelt,2002;29)

BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary designs on interiors, with secondary exterior unit designs common.

COMMON DESIGNS: Designs are the same as Agua Fria Glaze-on-Red.

BACKGROUND COLOR: Yellow or white. Thick to thin slip in gray to yellow to pinkish or buff exmples. The slip usually is thin covering reddish paste that is often fugitive and missing in patches.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Usually thickened bowl rims compared to earlier types. Bowl rims are usually most thick at the very top of the rim.
