TYPE: Largo Glaze Polychrome (Glaze B)

DATE: A.D. 1400 to 1450 (Oppelt,2002;29)

BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary bichrome designs on interiors, secondary polychrome designs on exteriors.

COMMON DESIGNS:  Like Largo Glaze-on-Yellow except that exterior designs usually have thick red lines outlined with thin glaze lines.

BACKGROUND COLOR: Yellow or white.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Usually 2, 3, or 4 exterior units or separate motifs. Usually thickened bowl rims compared to earlier types. Bowl interiors are usually bichrome, glaze on white or yellow while exterior designs have thick red unit motifs outlined with thin glaze black lines. Bowl rims are usually most thick at the very top of the rim.
