DATE: A.D. 1625 to 1700 (Oppelt,2002;28)

BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary designs may be on interiors or exteriors often with secondary exterior or interior designs.

COMMON DESIGNS:  Designs are usually simple.

KEY DIFFERENCES:  Shouldered bowls usually without thickened rims, often painted with extremely thick and "runny" paint, although some examples show thinner well controlled designs.
