TYPE: Reserve Red

DATE:  A.D. 1000 to 1300 (Wood, 1987;168)

KEY DIFFERENCES: Reserve Red bowls usually will have lustrous smudged black interiors, whereas most San Francisco Red bowls are red on both surfaces, and occasionally may have a "lightly" smudged black interior. Reserve Red jars usually have blackened interiors.
