TYPE: Prescott White-on-Gray

 

DATE: A.D. 1150 - 1300 (NAU Online Ceramic Manual 2001)

KEY DIFFERENCES: Usually narrow or fine line designs on gray or plainware.

TEMPER: Usually finer than Prescott Gray, may have a little or a lot of fine mica particles showing on the surface.

This vessel appears to have been completely painted white except for the bottom.
