TYPE: Pinedale Polychrome Variants

1Y Pinedale Polychrome variant jar with a white slipped neck exterior, and a black painted neck interior. You can see a black painted brush-stroke on the inner white paste of the jar.

Approximate Dimensions: 5 5/8" by 4 3/8"

 

 

2N Pinedale Polychrome Variant.

The interior of this bowl is slipped white except for six large red circles which have fine designs painted in and around them. The exterior is normal for Pinedale Polychrome.

 

 

 

3N Pinedale Polychrome variant with part red and white slipped backgrounds.

 

4N Pinedale Polychrome Variant Olla/Jar Rim Sherd.

The top has short black "dashes" painted on a natural buff unslipped background.
