TYPE: Papago Polychrome DATE: A.D. 1930 to Present Date
KEY DIFFERENCES: Black designs on red and white background, or, black and red designs on a white background, or red and white painted designs on a polished brown to tan background. SLIP OR SURFACE TREATMENT: Usually highly polished. White and red slips were used, some examples have natural unslipped yet polished brown areas. FORMS: Many eccentric forms.
