TYPE: Tularosa Red DATE: A.D. 1150 to 1400 (see comments) KEY DIFFERENCES: Highly polished, red slipped vessels with fine (Tularosa Style) indented corrugation. VARIETIES: Fillet Rim (Bowls) Indented Corrugated Smudged (Bowls) Indented Corrugated Non-smudged (Bowls) Fillet Neck (Jars) Smeared Fillet Neck (Jars) Unslipped Fillet Neck (Jars) Tool Punched Neck (Jars) Smooth Neck (Jars) COMMENTS: This type is the same as Reserve Red but with Tularosa Style Corrugation. This type has not been formally described (new type). Dates are believed to be the same as Tularosa Corrugated and Tularosa Fillet Rim. Fillets are thin bands of indented corrugation.
