TYPE: Benson Red-on-Brown DATE: A.D. 900 to 1100 (Tuthill, 1947;64) PRIMARY BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Interiors COMMON DESIGNS: Many designs look Mogollon, with a central star motif, while many other designs resemble Sedentary Period Hohokam styles. KEY DIFFERENCES: Red designs on white slipped interiors, exteriors slipped red. The exterior red slip seems to be the only difference to Tres Alamos Red-on-Brown.
