BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Interiors.

COMMON DESIGNS: Often 2 to 4 narrow parallel lines that are painted below the rim and across the bottom of bowls or body of jars.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Red painted designs.

FORMS: Bowls, jars.

COMMENTS: Terracotta is usually a light brownish-orange.
