BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary interior designs. Secondary exterior motifs or designs may be present.

COMMON DESIGNS: Multiple banding thin lines with opposed solid and hatched motifs (solid motifs usually dominate hatched motifs in quanity and size).

SLIP: May or may not be slipped.

KEY DIFFERENCES: Carbon paint.

COMMENTS: Pindi Black-on-White is a temper variety (pumice) of Santa Fe Black-on-White (Habicht-Mauche, 1993;22)
