TYPE: Sante Fe Black-on-White (AKA: Pajarito Black-on-White) DATE: A.D. 1200 to 1400+ (Oppelt, 2008;44) BOWL DESIGN PLACEMENT: Primary interior designs. Secondary exterior motifs or designs may be present. COMMON DESIGNS: Multiple banding thin lines with opposed solid and hatched motifs (solid motifs usually dominate hatched motifs in quanity and size). SLIP: May or may not be slipped. KEY DIFFERENCES: Carbon paint.
