TYPE: Kana-A Gray (Neckbanded) DATE: A.D. 760 to early 1100's (Oppelt 2008:20) KEY DIFFERENCES: Vessels are smoothed except for the wide neck bands or coils that distinquish this type. Coils usually measure 8 to 14 mm. wide.
